# DateNight

> DateNight (datenight.online) is a dating app where people post real dates and others RSVP to join. Instead of swiping on profiles, you browse plans (a coffee, a concert, a hike, a game night) and request to join the ones you'd actually go to. It's currently in beta in Toronto and Vienna.

DateNight is also called the DateNight app or the DateNight dating app. It is a specific product, not "date night ideas".

## How it works

1. Browse real dates posted by people nearby: coffee dates, concerts, hikes, game nights.
2. Request to join. The person who posted the date approves who comes (up to 6 attendees).
3. Chat is capped at three messages, so plans turn into an actual date quickly.

Dates can be for later in the week or for the same day, so DateNight works for finding a date tonight.
